Ok, as the topic says, all Xfer Records have been silently removed from Audioz like all Plugin Alliance as well. I hope this is not becoming the future of Audioz... :/

    Me too..

But let's not forget how good we have it.
By rights, we should have to pay for any software we want to try out.

Surely I am greatful for what we have! Over the years testing and playing around with Audioz plugins has become a hobby for me. And I can not imagine how it would be without these guys. So I really hope everything continues the way like before!

Expanding on the OPs statement of " hope this is not becoming the future of Audioz... :/ ",

This is becoming the future of the internet. But remember. It isnt audioz fault, but the ones who send DMCA notices. But it isnt their fault. Its their product. What it is is a lack of understanding for each others sides. But dont blame steve or PR or anything. Everyone will do as they will and people must follow rules, but companies will learn that sometimes supporting the underground gets you more attention.

People want to benefit from the internet, but without the inconvenience.
I say to them, try to open a shop and sell your plugins/music/etc in the real world.
Then nobody will be able to steal... or maybe they will.

Some people are starving, so I won't cry for that Duda prick or those Plugin Alliance assholes...
Maybe they will stop developing software (while I doubt that), and then what?
They'll find something else to do with their lives and we'll find other ways to make music (or anything else, while we're at it).

    No big deal.

PS: The hell with copyrights tyranny. You want our music? Get it! We won't run after you. You want to support us? Just do it, that's cool

That's not really nice thing to say now is it? These guys livelihood depends on the income
from the plug-ins they make, who knows, maybe they're not doing so well actually and are starving too!
Well, I'm sure they're doing fine but you get my point (I bought Serum for example, great plug-in
    and well worth the dough).

Yeah, and then you won't have any cool plug-ins to play with because there's nobody developing them, they're
cleaning toilets instead or something to pay their rent and buy their food! How do you make music then bro?

Why would you call him a dick and the others assholes, I really do not understand your causality. They have done nothing to or for you except give you and us some really great tools, and I mean really great.

Duda is a genius and great guy. He might be friends with deadmau5, but that doesn't mean he has deadmau5 money.

we should just be happy with what we got so far. huge thanks to all teams and all people involved. As One reason said we "would be just fine for a 1000 years". We should start paying the software we really use.

i have like 10 differents reverbs but ending up with Studio One's stock Room Reverb

This is reality. I confirm mate, les is more. Too many plugs 'drop you' into testing new stuff every day, and SciFi GUI and other bombastic claims, finally lead you to the basics. *yes*

I agree that good products will survive even when piracy is so rampant nowadays. But we should still support developers when we can, and I don't
blame Steve and Plug-in Alliance guys for sending out DMCA notices. I'm not speaking about entitlement, I believe if you can earn living by loving what
you do it also leads to better products, when you can fully dedicate your time in doing something. If you do it only in your 'free-time', I doubt that
we would have products like Serum. We live in a world where we need money, if you want to change the system you're free to try to do so.

In my opinion there was agreement ($, etc)
between AZ and Xfer Records, because if it were only for DMCA claims, there would be any samples pack or cracked software in AZ
That someone correct me if I'm wrong. Best regards!!

    No!
Most commercial application developers offer a 'demo' version to "try before you buy" and have been doing so for donkeys years.
