    Hi,
So guys i need some mixing tips, i’m really struggling to get better so i wanted to ask you this:

What do you think of the mix in general?
Am i missing something important, that maybe you hear?
    What should i practice more?
How much work do you think i have left in the mixing stage?
Is i ready for mastering anytime soon?

    Short info:
The acapella is downloaded from the internet and already had some processing. I did this remix just for practicing purpose. The file is bounced to Wav (16Bit) (sample frequency: 44 100).

Would really appreciate your feedback! Thanks in advance

Catchy tune, nice work. Maybe it lacks a little variation, but that's common in dance music. I'm not a fan of the 'transforming' as I call it (the rapid volume changes in the vocal). But that's taste, and maybe already in the vocal track.
In terms of mixing: Maybe the vocals are a little too much on top of the beat, I would dip 'm a little. (That's more of an issue when played loud). Wouldn't take too much time..

It sounds pretty good to me. Good balance, sounds clear and sharp. I would only add some harder bass at some points (like on 33 seconds) because I can hear only the bass of the kick (only my opinion though)

Its mainly a matter of taste, but I agree on the fact that a little more bass is needed. Also, maybe remove a little bit of treble on the female voice, a tad too much top end for me. That's what I guess is the main thing with the mix for me. Sounds overall a bit too bright, too much top end. So maybe you could remove a little bit of that and try to saturate only the low end. That could give it more balance. Having said that, its a pretty good mix, the elements are clear, has a good vibe (not talking about production) and doesnt feel overdone. Make sure you have eq'd carefully, and honestly it could be mastered as is (you should be doing the mastering yourself though, gives you a lot more control over the final product!)

Thanks for the positive response! I honestly thought i'd done more misstakes. :P I'm definitely taking notes of the details you've mentioned and making some smaller changes.
After a while you get pretty tired of hearing the same mix/song and you get kind of "blind", usually the problem for me at least. So it's nice to hear that you're on the right track.
If there's something else anyone would like to add, feel free to do so!

good stuff bud, sounds great to me too.

If I were to pick anything I'd maybe bring the vocals forward a tad in the mix but as pfc1990 said it really is a matter of taste.

    well done

From the top of my head the kick is significantly more powerful than the rest of the mix. The overall mix might benefit -1db on the kick. Check out how Curbi- Discharge transitions from different sections of the track it might add a bit more of excitement to your track. Its a dope tune man keep working on it.
