Let's put it this way. I don't have the money for it and a certain place in Sweden doesn't have it.

I heard Sonar Cakewalk has exelent notation features and it is still largely used to score for the film and gaming industry. Check it out it might be what your looking for...

@momo Presonus bought Notion approx 18 months ago, and as Mykal said, Notion will have better integration with Studio One v3

Samplitude from Magix, have a score editor, and you can select several tracks and see / edit them at the same time in the midi editor.
Then there is menu to edit the score for printing if needed.

    1. Way to expensive
    2. Overrated
    3. You THINK it is better (it used to be but that was back in 1990:s and early 2000:s) than PC
    4. It really isnt so stable as everyone says thats a myth like many other mac myth..
    5. Backwords compability stinks and you cant upgrade most of the softwares if you have a computer older than 5 years
    6. Support guys have so bad attitude when you arguing and proof that they dont know what they talk about in my case they stop answer my question.
    7. Wake up it has gone a long time since Mac was the better alternative only if you have Pro-Tools HD (well even then you can have a PC nowadays) or wants to make music in Logic (same there but i dont really know how good a hackintosh is although i know about a few producer that use those instead of a real mac go figure!!) you need a Mac

You are aware that Audiosex has a sister site, which has Notion right?

Nothing beats sibelius for notation, then export it to midi into the daw of your choice and do the rest.

If daw integration is not so important, I say Musescore

It's free, open source and it has almost all virtual instruments. You can listen what you write and then save as mid, pdf, xml, wav, flac...
