This bank is inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s poem and holds 29 FX presets, 21 textures/cluster presets,
38 sequence presets and 40 synth presets. Listen to the demo song here:

I agree the workflow is unnecessarily tedious because Rob's trademark is these hardware-style GUIs but I wouldn't say the synth sucks.

Christ, that is an ugly GUI... It's like 1999..... and not in a good way.... (and yeah, more time bombs cat! :) )

Ahahha, had the same reaction when I saw this topic. The synth LOOKS like it's from 10 years ago but hopefully some of its presets don't SOUND like they're from 10 years ago. :bleh:

i have not worked with hardware synths, but it makes no fun with that approach for me. a good synth should have a fast workflow gui.

that way i did not look deeper into BLUE.

Please tell me more about the timebombs!
I'm currently using a BLUE-II patch in a project. I don't want it to crap out on me as I near the finish line.
I'd much rather replace the patch now and uninstall BLEW-2.

Quick Dingus! Bounce the part! Or at least "freeze" it..... not sure how fluid that part is right now in your project, whether your are still tweaking it a lot... I don't know about new time bombs or if that was a joke, but I find myself rendering as audio more often then not these days. Helps me make decisions, I can always redo it, ("save as sessions" as well), cpu considerations, and also avoid the pitfall you are talking about! :mates:

The released versions are fine, it's when he releases a new version he adds even more protection code that consumes 50 times more resources than necessary all for naught since the teams will slice through it like a hot knife through butter. So all he is doing is screwing over legitimate customers that now have to deal with worse performance using his plug-ins. This isn't something you should have to worry about. Yes the teams sometimes miss some little things here and there, I experienced this with Predator 1.63 which would mute output every so often but the latest versions of all his plugs seem to be in working order.

Exactly Cat, that is why I tend to use K'd versions of stuff I have bought! Like Arturia etc… It's fucking ridiculous….

You mean his trademark are these shitty GUIs, right?

He should spend more money on design, not on protection.
