The Breakdown has this Saw Chords where the attack opens up , I'm sure he made it in Sylenth1. I played with the adsr. Any tips?

http://youtu.be/Zv1QV6lrc_Y?t=1m25s @ 1:25min . Also What type of filter is that?

Lowpass filter envelope and automation/modulation (where you play with filter envelope attack and decay, and set it to taste). Maybe you automate the envelope sustain.
It's also layered, so the bass is one layer and the saw-ish chord is another layer.

I'll bet on Arturia Mini V not Sylenth1.

All he ever uses is vengeance samples... and his 'version' of Sylenth. Seems his real name is TeamAir
Watch his "In the studio with" for a masterclass in blagging it.

    I'm only jealous lol

I'm thinking more the Virus from the way the attack is on the filter envelope.

Lol at people name-dropping synths instead of giving advice on how to re-create.

I don't have Monarch. You can pay me to recreate it in another synth that we both have/own.

Keep playing with saws and pulse/PWM (and/or other waveforms) in different octaves and play around with your lowpass filter envelope and cutoff automation. You can also try to add a tad of chorus, etc. EQ to taste.
When the thing kicks in you can also try to add a noise oscillator (not so loud) and side-chain compress it all.

I'm really glad Baxter is here. Guy obviously knows wtf time it is, and is helpful without being snobbish about how he knows so much more than you.

That was always my problem at GS. Yes, I know you do audio engineering for a living. No, you don't have to lord it over me.
