has anybody had experience with the rekon virus editor (preferably on a virus rack)?

i'm thinking about purchasing it as the midiquest one isnt really working well and the ones i can find from ctrlr are also giving me a headache. i'd like to hear some feedback and such from people using it

I've used the editor with a Virus C to decent results. Although I was using an old version (like v1.26 or something). Version 2 looks much nicer. Midiquest is fairly horrible.

i came across an older version of the editor as well, it works but it doesnt take any of the settings of a patch when i change patches. midi quest is a good tool for getting a headache tho i dont see why one would want to get a headache

I think this in particular (helped me when I was first using the editor):

    A. Set 'Control/MIDI/LoPage=cc' .
    B. Set 'Control/MIDI/HiPage=polypressure'.
    *neither setting should read 'sysex'.

i've been in contact with rekon last night and in the new version of the editor there is a 'get patch' option. it seems like they didnt implement it in the first versions of the editor so it doesnt take over the sound setting of a patch. just tried A and B and it still wont show the settings of a patch.
