Hi guys,

I have been using FL Studio as a DAW quite a bit of time, and I have a chance to get 'Ableton Push' as midi controller.
I am aware that the instrument is built to be controlling Ableton (and i am willing to learn it also),
but, is there any chance to use Push with FL Studio efficiently in terms of producing?

If anyone has tried Push with FL Studio before, any feedback and suggestion would be great.

Its a massive jerry rig but it can be done.
Not all features will available in FL but the fundamentals and a few extras can be done.

You'll just need know your way around Windows, MIDI, and MCU protocol.

It seems like some main features of Push will work in FL Studio, too.

Also, I'm planning to learn Ableton as a second DAW, however, do you think it is possible to use Push with non-registered version of Ableton Live?
Or, is it best to get 'Maschine MK2' instead of 'Push' ? (as they are nearly at same price level)

Have a look for PXT General,
It lets yiu use Push (even scales) with any DAW

I am currentky using it with Studio One and it works better than with Live

 

working with Bitwig too, which is the sexiest DAW in the known universe

I think both Push and Maschine MK2 are offering a lot to user for controlling variet of DAWs.
However, Push has been especially designed for Ableton, and for the current situation I will only be able to purchase 'Push' without Ableton Live 9 (dont have any other 500$.

So, in this situation, will Push work smoothly with a cracked version of Ableton?
There is no info about this issue anywhere (naturally)
