An awesome compressor. Does what it says it does--glues your mix together.

Heres what he said on Facebook
facelift, AAX and VST3 support, and password protected copy protection will be delivered together in the update. The new copy protection system is required to support AAX.

    Very stylish!

Loving the 3d effect on the knobs, etc.

As for the sound staying the same - you'd be surprised what a GUI can do to the sound of a plugin.

Of course, it's a placebo effect, but the plugin will sound a touch more professional when adjusting the parameters and listening to the mix.

    Just a quick thought!

There's no "Fade In" or "Fade Out" is there on this plugin?

The Waves version has this feature from the original console.

It's an odd little function but surprisingly useful! Especially when you automate it on a looping end chorus section.

No, but how long does ist take to set up a volume automation lane in any DAW? 5 seconds? ;)

I think a compressor should just compress nicely, noting more. This fade-in/out function is just a relic of times where there were no automatable faders on cosoles. It's cool to have but it is really not necessary in the digital domain…

But what I would like to see was some sort of visual waveform display like in Fabfilter Pro C or DMG Compassion where you can see the threshold and gainreduction and peaks it catches. It could be layered on top of the metering or you could just click on the meter and it would turn on.

It could maybe look like the visuals cytomic added to the drop's LFOs and Envelopes which can be seen here: The Drop
