you know about Focusrite Red Plugin Suite but... TADA... there is another news.
Read the following one:

Every user with a Scarlett, Saffire interface or Forte registered to their
user account will have an activation code for the Red Plug-In suite. This
code is stored under the interface registration in...

...so, if you own a Focusrite HW stuff (like me), login and looking for the
activation code (I got one). Come on, move your (registered) ass!!!

Be a registered user is not enough. The HW stuff must be registered too,

Thanks for the info, but I've been into my account and cant find any activation code for red plugins. I own a scarlet 18i20.

 

According to the manual the midnight plugin suite should contain a model of the ISA 110 eq coupled with the ISA 130 comp while this one has a different eq (ISA 215) and the same compressor (ISA 130).

I'm sorry. Try to contact the Focusrite support and ask them why they don't give the code to you. I own a Scarlet 2i2 and I can confirm: I got the code.

 

That's what I've done, waiting for the answer ...

 

And that's a shame, because midnight sucks... big time!

 

The guy that made that video is an Idiot, Obviously they are the same Comps BUT Focusrite says so, as chopin4525 pointed out. But for some reason that guy made it out as if Foucsrite was pulling a fast one on everybody, Not true at all.Before some of you go and bash the company thinking that, just remember that Focusrite never claimed otherwise and it is free, so.. quit bitching like someone just licked all the yellow off your lollipop and move on. Geez!! I can't understand why some of you guys bitch and moan over such trivial shit

 

The guy is comparing The new Red 3 plugins (not free at all, they cost $299) and the Midnight Compressor, not free either as they are shipped with an interface.

The guy is saying that is exactly the same compressor with a different GUI. Why the hell you need something looking new which is exactly the same?

That is laziness of the devs, or trying to fool some new customers to buy the red plugin suit which is exactly the same old stuff. Nothing new. That is not an intelligent move by focusrite.
