pRetty stiff upgrade prices for those who were the first to buy Omnisphere. Nevertheless, one of,if not the best, synth for me...

Oh shit. I've probably spent a ton of time and money trying to get sounds that were available to me
with Omnisphere for a cool 5 Benjamins. I guess I should plan on taking the plunge when this hits the
streets April 30th. It seems pointless to purchase the current version and upgrade in 3 months.

But I sure would like to take it for a spin. Hmmmm. Damn.

Fuck it, I'm buying it on day one release. Spectrasonics can take my body as well as my money *yes* .... Just WOW and what this synth can do!

 

I wish we had April already. Looks ten times better than any other new VST feature wise, but only four times the price - instant buy.

and Spectrasonics or the Devil sure you want that of me

in the end i will pay and hope and one Day i do a buy Spectrasonics or the Devil who knows

 

If you don't own it I would highly recommend it. I still haven't fully explored V1 so I'll wait (it will be hard) until I'm flush with cash.

A good example of stuff it can do other than film score are Ilio patches.
EDM Eclipse: Solar

It can be very daunting at first but the workflow is very good and the depth of sounds is amazing

 

well i own all Stuff of them and i can highy recomand this Synth

3rd-Party Patches are worth the Money too

and as they say it will take a Lifetime to explore this Synth they did not lie at all

and if i would limit this synth down to just Film scores or EDM stuff it would only scratch the surface...

i do EBM and Industial Stuff with it and i am more then pleased

 

Maybe I missed it, but are Omnisphere 1 'patches' included in Omnisphere 2 so I can use Omnisphere 2 for old projects I used Omnisphere 1?
When Omnisphere came out, Atmosphere patches were included (but not usable in old projects - at least not right away).

Buying Omnisphere 1 now and have the Grace Period Upgrade FREE to Omnisphere 2 is nice (not so nice for those who bought it before october 2014).
Anyway: When seeing how enthusiastic Eric Persing is about his product - who can resist to buy it?? I will. I mean - I will buy it
