Apple today released a new version of Logic Pro X, its professional audio editing software, bringing the current version to 10.1 and adding a long list of new features. Among the new additions to Logic Pro X in version 10.1 includes 10 new Drummers, the intelligent beat profile feature, focused on hip hop and electronic styles. OS X Yosemite users will appreciate the ability to share projects from Logic Pro X to other users using both Mail Drop, which lets you send large files over email using iCloud storage, and AirDrop, which lets you share files wirelessly between nearby Macs.

Can you audition your loop files synchronized with the tempo of the song?

 

Like in Studio One? I believe no. Logic is a great daw but the browser just sucks.

 

I don't know why apple does not want to update the browser. It's a pain in the ass. I think that It's better that I stick with Cubase Pro 8.

MAN!! just bustd another nut!!

Now that Ive been usin' it...

FINALLY... an update to sample auditioning!!

now, once you click on the speaker-symbol (so that it turns green) just clicking on a sample file plays it... PLUS, you can just click on the up or down arrow key and the samples just automatically play !!!!

so you can just rip right through your drum samples lookin for an appropriate sound

been waitin for that for AGES.

 

yeah... that still is retarded... but at least i dont need two hands simply to surf through sample folders (one to click on the speaker-icon, and the other to push the arrow key)

ctrl+space to toggle autoplay on/off

 

i'm not really sure that LPX 10.1 can play loops in time and in sync with the song what key i had to press to active it??
