Can anyone guide me to any sites or video tutorials? I get the general idea but I am looking for some specifics, which plugins are preferred for doing the effects that I want to do on a typical cdj (delay, loop stutter thing, filter, etc)

 

Like for example what am I automating to make the delay effect? Rate? Ping pong? I know what I want to do in my head but still have not mastered the dark arts of the daws

Can you point me in the direction where I can learn the proper parameters of effects like delay, filter, etc.?

I can mix on cdjs, do the delay effect, etc. How do I emulate that in ableton?

Which delay am I using? Which parameters am I automating?

You guys know what im talking about, the delay over the measure of some snare rolls that speed up before the drop comes in.

Also do I use delay or beat repeater to make the beatmasher sound from traktor or the 1/4 loop stutter edit on cdj turntables?
