I think customers and the music software biz really need to know why they have closed their doors

 

Kvr has 30 pages, and conclusion for the most part is that a company bought them out before alchemy 2 and maybe suspect some info at namm

 

let's hope so, still would have been nice for AC to actually say what the reason was rather than just shutting up shop

 

Ok so why has there been no warez for windows in the last there years.

I think its a case of fold one company to set up another one,

Bankruptcy its a fashion thing now days.

 

This is terrible news. there products are excellent and i have bought them all. Is it true that we have missed out on a Alchemy 2? If so thats the worst news of the year so far!!! its only january though i suppose

what I meant to say was buyout, camel was seemingly bought by a company, alchemy 2 will be released by them and not camel audio. So the news isn't so sad..

Not knowing what the whole EU VAT thing was at first, (which I found to be a Value Added Tax).. I found this little tidbit of info...

i sometimes wonder if these kind of government actions are imagined by big companies to crush small businesses, so they can have a bigger market share, and they can even buy them really cheap since they have to close anyway.

 

respect, i began music with camel 5000....

 

If its a buyout can't see the guy behind it wanting to work for someone else. Will they be able to replace him and after Alchemy 2 still be able to come up with the technology to survive. Or maybe the buyers not going to be solely dependent on the camel side of the business. Must have been offered silly money and couldn't say no as they knew they had a popular new product about to go on sale.

 

Quite the contrary: the original ratio legis was to force Amazon paying taxes in EU but when you leave that to the outstandig ability of European politics this is the result. -.-
