I have posted a link below to an odd thread that appeared today on GearSlutz...

Does anyone know if this thing is legit?.. I PM'd the OP to try and understand what this app is exactly... specifically, will this thing "force-validate" plugins that do not have purchased licenses?.. although I didn't quite use those words exactly

very odd/fishy thing to see on GS.

EDIT:

GS is down all of a sudden... here is a link to this "OSX Validation App." I would imagine that one should tread cautiously with something like this; however, maybe someone that knows something about the "ins & outs" of Macs (i.e. Copyl3fter, or any others) might be able to explain it.

It's legit Dimtriad, I haven't used it myself, but CL himself endorses it. It basically just forces logic to accept certain pesky AU's that fail validation.... But I have it on my system!

I have used the "OSX Validate All AUs.app" from time to time with absolutely no problems

 

Been using this for a long time. Love this thing. Saved me on many occasions.
