you need to spend time with daws, you can not really get the best from them with only a few hours playing. Have you thought about doing an online course if your local music colleges don't provide courses?

 

i know. you're right. i spent 5 years on logic 8 - 9 (which is terrible). then upgraded to cubase in the last weeks. it's really really powerful and complete (probably the best daw), a lot better than logic, but it's pretty different, tough and professional and and i don't have time/money/intentions to spend a year to getting used to it.
i don't need that super pro thing.. i just need a toy (sorry for my english)
i did a mistake buying it hastily, and i will pay for that.. (250 eu apparently)

 

How much do you want?

 

I'd rethink that because Cubase is a very powerful and easy to use program once you get settled. And it will grow with you as you progress giving you a lot of capabilities and a sweet interface.
