Any idea how to open .bin/.cue files on a Mac? I've tried Stuffit Expander, Archive Utility, Better Zip, RAR Expert, Unarchiver, Toast, etc. and NO STINKIN' LUCK! I had Daemon something or other in a trial version that worked, but I'm blocked from another trial. I appreciate any advice. HELP!!!

I almost did buy it when my trial ended and I was offered a special 30% off, but when I checked out the price was full so cancelled. Then, I even considered paying the $9.99, but the version disappeared and there was a "light" version for $14.99. All my attempts to contact the developer have been ignored. I'm not sure what to do. It's sad that these knuckleheads have a monopoly on such a useful little app.

Any2ISO maybe works. I do that with Terminal with bchunk. There's another thread where we treated this ;)

Hello, most of the times it's enough to rename the .bin file to .iso (example -> rename myfile.bin to myfile.iso) - try it and see if it works.

renaming is sometimes dangerous, because informatics sectors are not the same in "BIN".
they are bigger because of more redundancy. thats why the Bin file is bigger than Iso

the best way is "Any to iso", much convenient than Toast ...
or terminal if you not afraid of it

Sorry that you'd had no luck with Toast. I recently had to deal with a .bin file, and extracted its contents successfully with Toast Titaniim.

I actually thought that Alcohol might not be available on Mac but when I ran a quick search before I posted I spotted some results and so I assumed it existed. After I looked closer now I realize that I have no idea why those sites even used Alcohol 120 in the title when they're pushing some other software. Anyway Daemon Tools should be cool. When I have a chance I will look into it for you concerning the blocking. If it's server side you should be able to block that.

Also BlindWrite, MagicISO, PowerISO, Toast, WinISO, etc. If you want to make it easy on yourself check out Slysoft's Virtual CloneDrive which is absolutely free.

Ok, but shouldn't be a problem since already 2 solutions has been given.
    1: AnyToISO
2: bchunk in Terminal (I use this, just work)

I give you another one if Terminal scares you: http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/27240/bchunkerfe
Didn't tried this, it's a front end interface for bchunk, should be ok.

    Have a good holidays !
