Ready to test it.... what's the opinion on here besides it's one ugly synth?

Just tried.. i think it's a little bit too aggressive to me.. but it's great for hardcore and rawraw hardstyle

 

this one is definitely on my wishlist, hope santa brings me a couple hundred dollar bills

 

Meh. Protection sucks even more this time, if even possible. I can clearly see when serial checks are performed looking at CPU meter in Live on this not so powerful laptop.
Sound didn't excite me too much, but I see some use for hardcore stuff...
GUI makes me want to punch it (or puke at it)

 

lol thanks for the info, never knew the protection scheme was crap, definitely something to consider.

rob papen tends to like being the renowned leader in bad GUI's, but all in all this synth would be great for me personally.

 

rob papen is a F%^& face, hate hiss gimmicky plugins and his harsh statements against musicians. Witch they are not if they use warez, in his opinion just everything about this guy make me itching

 

Ugliest GUI ever and not convinced at all by the audio demos
Even if I don't need another synth for distorted sounds it's perhaps a fun synth to play with

 

Holy sh*t the sounds that come from this synth are on spot for the harderstyles.... I think this might give that scene a lil' boost again... or all tracks will sound even more the same ;)

 

Do you even really give a sh.t about whether or not Rob Papen thinks you're a musician? I mean...really?

Not my type of music, but i understand this synth will jump on the EDM-hype wagon and for business point of view (market) i understand Papen.
Although i think you can achieve very similar sounds with his old Predator synth and using some heavy distortion effect plugins.

Personally i would not buy Raw.
