some 3 days ago, I registered on the VI Control forum, but the registration has not been confirmed by an admin yet.. Is it customary for the process to take that long?

Yeah it actually annoys me how devs talk about warez users and at the same time have no problem whatsoever taking their money and support when it's offered. That is some bullshit. Just use another nick if you've used the same one that you use here.

Thanks for the replies, I hope it really has nothing with warez, because if it does, I wouldn't want to be registered on such a forum anyway.

 

The reason for the delay is due to a spam bot attack they had a few years back. Afterward it was manual auths. They don't like warez but apparently warez posts aren't allowed here either. But that's not the reason for the delay in getting your account online.

 

Warez requests and links aren't allowed here, this isn't a warez centric board but discussing warez is fine.
