The download link SFX Pack 1.4GB provide is " a_sound_effect_sfx_sampler.rar.dmg " and when expanded becomes " macvexe " installer.

How safe is it to run that macvexe installer ?

Never mind, I went directly to the factory and obtained the .rar file that expanded to the audio files.

I don't know, perhaps that .rar.dmg had something to do with the odd expansion and perhaps that's what happens when you are a musician and not computer literate.

 

It`s the original archive, maybe you forgot to uncheck the "use download accelerator box".
They are just asking for an email, no hassle anyway.

 

Ah,i see what i did wrong now: i used the very first "download" button. And now that i tried it again i can see that the the download accelerator should be unchecked.

Thanks for headsup and now it's back to making music.
