Adding notes to a Piano Roll

    I was wondering how i can add notes to the Piano roll by recording them with a Keyboard. Everytime i try to add some notes and press recording, live 9 deletes the other notes and the Piano roll starts from the beginning. Is there any function which i can enable like in Cubase so it doesnt rewrites the whole midi clip but just adds the new pressed keys when i start recordning?

    Edit: Found the Overdub-function but it still closes the piano roll window.
