Well, most of these things are on YouTube or someplace similar. If you have a legit Sylenth, you get them from Sylenth. If not, you get your info where you can.-----:http://www.sylenthtutorials.com/-----http://www.groove3.com/str/Sylenth-Explained.html :dunno: Google search turns up all sorts of crap.

I suggest you also have a quick read up on the manual as well

    Code:
    http://www.lennardigital.com/files/Sylenth1Manual.pdf
and what is wrong with learning from a youtube kid? :dunno:

Lol. I would RTFM and watch videos of some YouTube-kid that knows more than you do. Remember - it's not where you learn shit from, but that you learn it. Oh, and you gotta tweak those Sylenth1 knobs and sliders.

I know Sylenth1 but I don't post videos (there are already thousands out there, doing a pretty good job at it).

Reading the manual is the best way to start.

ADSR sounds is as professional as it gets.

Sylenth1 really is a pretty basic synth, maybe learn the synthesis basics and you should get around this synth very easy.

Warp academy's "the art of synthesis" would be a good start.
But beware: they also have an youtube channel, so they might not be professional enough for you.

The funny thing is, lately if you don't have a YouTube channel, you are not professional enough LOL!!
Think about it, YouTube is a promotional means to get your content out there. You gonna find the rubbish and some pretty good gold in the pile. And often time when you do find the gold, you have to transfer to their official site to get the rest of the materials for a fee.

I think that when you learn all about (analog) synthesis, you do not need any tutorial for sylenth...

    @ Beats,

 ...and particularly when that 'Synthesis' is 'Subtractive Synthesis' (certainly the most simplest of all sort of existing 'Synthesis' to work with) as is the case with 'Sylenth1' ! *yes*

A simple (personal) remark : Some 'Sylenth1' Users have they wondered why there are so many Soundbanks/Soundsets available for their 'beloved' Soft Synth (either 'Commercial' ones, or 'Free'/'Users' ones) ?

    2 Answers :

    1. Either 'Sylenth1' is rather easy to program (mainly due to its 'Subtractive Synthesis'). *yes*
    2. Or because it sounds really GREAT !!!

Both are valid, don't you think ?

What I have learned from YouTube: How to repair my Yamaha digital piano, how to fix a fist hole in a door (hope the guy watched one for sore knuckles), how to apply playing snare drum rudiments to drum kits, how to fly my stunt kite, how to grow better weed. How well Buddy Rich played "Straight, No Chaser"---and how big an asshole Buddy Rich could be--lol....The video and sound quality are poor, but the amount of knowledge available is vast (so is the amount of worthless shit). If you are trying to market your music without some sort of video with it (even just a picture of the album cover with lyrics), it's hard to get people to listen or get their attention. You have to fight your battles with the weapons available, even if not your weapon of choice. :mates: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zct4hW0Ixc
