This week the version of Little Snitch 3.07 I was running suddenly stopped working. While trying to reinstall it I had a warning saying that the install just covered till OSX 10.6.
My question: have anyone experienced similar problem btw Little Snitch – Yosemite?
What updates can be found around ?
What is the risk to run without firewall in terms of precise installs of logic and vsts and so on ? You understand me.

I use RadioSilence. a very tiny firewall witch only blocks the programs that you ad in the list.
Silencing 32lives, and Logicx works for me.
Other connections, by other programs in the background, is not monitored. Same goes for incoming calls, Haven't had any issues for the last year, using this. I can recommend

Hands Off! 2.2 is still working fine for me. I like it better than LittleSnitch now that I've gotten used to it.

I don't see that at LS web site or even at M S J web site.

 

If you want to block *outgoing* connections per-app, you can use the free TcpBlock (@wordpress) firewall.
I've been using it for 6 months now, and after some mandatory initial tweaking I only have to touch it again when I install anything that requires internet access.
You can even choose whether your policy is "white list" or "black list".
Works rock-solid for me.
