Yeah, they usually make the presets and plugins BEFORE they release it. He just slipped his tongue, working with the alpha/beta 8.
Good to see they are working on Cubase 8 though.

They're working on it, yep. Rumors (trusted) says even the golden master (means final) is ready, dunno when it will be released though.

 

Precisely. I didn't mean to insinuate that the product's been released (did I?), which we all know is false. Only that this is/was a rough indicator of the current stage of work in progress on 8. Wish you could have seen the video.

It would tie in date wise as they usually update in first 2 weeks of December.

 

I think the official release will be in January at NAMM '15, i hope the same thing for Ableton 10
