But seriously. That above means much of nothing. So ignore it. Unless you know where it comes from.

What this thread is about is the Manuscript of Voynich. It is a real 600 year old (has been carbon dated) manuscript (book) of which the language and images have not been distinguishable by many intelligent minds. The book was given to WW code breakers, astrophysicists, linguists, and more to decipher. And no one has been able to yet.

There are a few things that puzzle the majority. 600 years old isnt THAT old. And almost every language for the past 1000 years have been deciphered, atleast partially.

Some will say a 600 year old hoax. But remember that 600 years ago doing something as lengthy and detailed as the manuscript is took a long time. Nowadays its ridiculously easy. But you cant fool the carbon dating placing it around 1400's AD.

There are sections. Flora, Astro, Bio, and Recipes or something of the sort (in that order).

I was examining the Astro sections. It takes place of the Julian calendar the time period corresponds with that. The dates in the months are correct (per sign), and thats where some have begun deciphering. You look for common lettering. Like in coMMon. or leTTer. And vowels as well (or something similar to such) AEIOU. Repetition. Or how they broke the rosetta stone, Proper names or words. And thats where one researcher has started trying to decipher. Using Taurus in the astro section. I began my amateur attempt int he astro section looking at the days and signs. I started with the first one displayed which is Pisces, then i believe is Aries. But i cant remember.

It's from the book The Case Of Charles Dexter Ward by H.P. Lovecraft, a brilliant classic horror writer from the turn of the 19th century. In the book it was an incantation able to bring the dead back to life.
