Hello everyone - opened this topic 'cause I did not find anything as specific on this issue

So, new OS (Mavericks) from a snow leopard machine - and another plugin problem:

Absynth 5 - version 5.0.1 - now seems not to find libraries of some samples like for example patch called "Number 57" - error message displayed is:

ex:"Sample Rhodes.wav was not fond". Would you like to browse for it?

I don't know where to find these wav files and where to load them - anyone can help?

    thanks

hi i have windows but this could fix it,

make sure its the full installer you loaded in about 1.5 gig
    and not just a update,
verson 5.0 will load in all the sounds where a update will
just update the plugins and a few sounds,

i would look around for a torrent with a full verson 5.0
and install that frist then update it to 5.1

after this if it dont find the sounds
run a search for Sample Rhodes.wav on you mac hard drive and if you find it remeber where it is
    when you open Absynth 5
and you will know where to look,it should find the rest of the sounds
once you find the frist one in it.

its more than likey you install just the update, *yes*

    They used to be in /Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Absynth 5/Samples

Else, they might be in /Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Shared Content

If they're not there download a software such as EasyFind and search with it. Spotlight doesn't look very deep, EasyFind searches through all the disk/s. If the samples aren't there at all you need to reinstall the full Absynth.

Thanks for the answer; I've looked through both directories and I found sounds but none of them are .wav files maybe someone has that folder and is willing to share it with me? Much appreciated :mates:
