Nothing spectacular. It's not even a whole remix, but a build-up and a drop (somewhat). Try making your own track instead, and not a remix.

You might want to tune your kick (kick bass) to the key of the track.

 

EDM not my really my thing but I do like a few artists.

Don't take anything I say personally as I no expert & is only my little viewpoint.

To put it bluntly I don't like it at all. It's not complete so I can't follow the direction. The only thing I can imagine is like five repeated sections of the same part so for me there is a complete lack of evolution but maybe that's what u want.

Think the dynamics & eq need a bit of work to make maybe the snare cut through a little in parts & tone down the kick etc. Don't like the Kick at all either (sounds horrid) think maybe you should work on that (a lot).

Also so of the compression sounds a bit off in parts which possibly affecting it to some degree.

Ultimately like I said I don't get what it is or what it meant to be.

Definitely agree with Baxter in that maybe save the remix stuff for honing in on your mixing skills ect whilst also concentrating on writing your own original stuff which in the end will help you progress in both directions.

Did you make all the synth sounds and/or play them in by yourself?

Sounds like the kind of track Martin Garrix might play... as it's in that kind of style.

How long did this take you to put together? I'm not going to critique your work, just curious to know your methods.

I would suggest easing back off the compressor as it's quite tiresome on the ears if the dynamic rage of the entire mix has been totally obliterated.

 

My advice to you don't sound like everyone else, thats gonna make you stand out.. Try new things!
