Find a similar sound on something like NI Massive or Spectrasonics trillian or sylenth or whatever you like.
Then to make the bass 'move' like that you put a compressor on the bass and set the side-chain input on the compressor to the kick drum.
So every time the kick drum plays the bass will drop then rise again between each kick, creating that pumping feel.
i use logic's compressor, set comp type to peak (not rms), really fast attack. usually between 35-44 ms release and i turn auto gain off and no make up gain. Comp ratio varies.

    Hope this helps

Greetings my Italian friend, the sound your hear at 18's is the result of a chain of different FX and its kind of important to remember that. I don't make electro house and there are much better qualified people on the site to answer your question but will try and give you a place to start.
Next time you post it would be a good idea to add which DAW you are using. i.e logic, ableton, pro tools etc.. and which synth you are trying to get the sound from as it makes it much easier to help you directly.
As GoodG mentions you can achieve this sound by getting a synth to generate the waveform, or by loading a similar sound into a sampler

Just going to concentrate on the sound at 18s that you asked about because as the tune goes on the Bass gets more complex
Its sounds like its a basic Saw wave, (most synths are capable of creating a saw shape) at maybe -12 octave, im guessing that they have either layered a couple of these or turned on/up something called unison which plays a number of voices at the same time but all slightly detuned from one another.
The other important thing to note is the topic GoodG touched upon. Its the side-chaining that really creates the movement on this particular bass sound, its quite important.
So you might end up with an fx chain something like this *Saw wave -12 octave (turn your unison up to 2 or 3+ voices) + tube amp + sidechaining compressor + amp
Remembering to eq along the way, the eq is your tool for sculpting your sound so its v.important!
Will be interesting to find out how you are getting along

    Get massive

get some presets that are floating about...

i got some presets off here that i put through voxengo varisaturator and used the thrasher setting...

added a trilogy bass running the same notes to add more weight...

    then add some imagination...

Hi again found a video that you might find usefull, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mvpTUrpmgo&feature=related
I don't think it covers side-chaining but all you need to do is type in FL studio side chain into youtube, and there are a multitude of videos on the subject.
The tutorial uses Native's massive but ANY basic synth will do so don't worry if you don't have it

Get massive : ), I remember music production before, yes I said it 'before' massive. Don't get me wrong I really like the performer/lfo setup, but one must remember there are other types of synth out there , i.e additive synthesis which give a different sound and feel. Its all about the variation!

Indeed...but i was trying to make life easier...

Most top electro house producers use Massive (as well as other synths) to get that fat bass..

    So i recommended massive!

but of course there's other synths!

there comes a time when ya just gotta work things out for yourself...

Skrillex, Porter Robinson etc didnt go to electro school...they figured shit out!

Get a big bag of weed and lock yourself away for a few days in your studio...if you still cant work it out maybe that style of music is just a bit beyond you...

    Exactly!!

There has been more than enough help already.

The actual bass is just a simple saw. Get some of the sounds banks for massive thats floating about (as already mentioned) you will find what you need in them.

That vengeance bank for sylenth has similar sounds also (will be easier to get your head around aswell if your interested in seeing how it works). There is all sorts of crazy shit going on in that track so don't expect to find a magic preset.
