Hi, I'm Jay Soaring, a Berlin based Techno/Acid Producer. <br />
When I first saw the film &quot;Berlin Calling&quot; I wanted to produce electronic dance music. Since about 2009/2010 I am digging Ableton Live and all those wonderful VSTs in order to make music. I work in the box (sound) and use a bunch of MIDI-Controllers to control various parameters. <br />

I use a Novation SL25-MK2 keyboard, an UC33e, a Launchpad, a Korg nano-control, an Arturia Spark as a Drum machine. I have an Focusrite Saffire 6USB Audio Interface with a pair of AKG K702 Cans and a pair of Neumann KH120a speakers<br />

As a DAW I use Ableton Live 9.1 only. My go to synths are Zebra, FM8, Diva, LuSH-101, ABL2, ARP2600V. For Drums I use D16 stuff like Drumazon, Nephetron but also NI Battery, Microtonic and Spark. As audio plugins I prefer Brainworx, Waves, FabFilter. I also use some things of PSP Audio like the Delays and Vintage Warmer. My production process is more of a technical approach.<br />

My main influences were Paul Kalkbrenner, Stephan Bodzin, Marc Romboy, The Bloody Beetroots, Steve Aoki, Nathan Fake - later the whole Berlin techno scene with Len Faki, Ben Klock, Ben Sims or Kanzleramt etc...
