if you are using windows xp just make sure your processor is over 2 ghz and you have at least 3 gb ram and up get the largest ram stick your pc...
anything dual core with over 3 gb ram will run fl fine get a usb sound card and you can record live also running windows xp is great for fl studios
actually sound libraries are super easy to crack all you do is get the program or find some that has it have them sample what you want and presto...
