SpectraLayers 11 isn't good as SpectraLayers 12
Not all demux have the same efficacy. Some sources have different situations. Spectralayers 12 is better (IMO) to separate Vocals, Drums & Basses....
Have you tried the new Spectralayers 12? It's my favorite today. MVSEP is also an excellent tool. Mostly I combine both apps for best results.

The best way to tune drums sounds is to get a drummer that is tunned with the song. Just push Rec and everything will sound magic.
