Help!!! I lost my Cubase 6 ISO :-(

    Don't bother burning that image, as I told you dmg is only for Mac.
    Maybe there's some win leftover inside but no actual installer.

    If instead of wasting two days asking for it here you would've contacted steinborg
    I think you will probably already have it.

    Inside the dmg DVD(Steinberg.Cubase.6.DVD.dmg ) I've found MAC&WIN files bro. I did not make any image file, I just extracted the file and everything what I needed was inside !!Instal files for Windows and MAc. I have now the cubase 6 on run :wink:

    Only the request under the Serial number *yes*

    Thanks bro !! And in forward I will formulate my question a little differently. :wink:

    Uh, that's weird LOL.
    Cause .dmg is Mac proprietary stuff. I discover only now that it can carry FAT filesystem too :wow:

    i am just a normal windows user .I unpacked everything just by accident and have seen another arte of mac dmg. :)

    from all the software i own, i can obtain the installer files from the web even its sunday or saturday, when nobody is in the office. its really strange that steinberg has not this opportunity.

    @copy, dmg can carry all filesystems in it, just like ISO can, i remember a game which had 2GB saved on a 700MB CD_ROM, when you converted this into a ISO file, the whole filesystem was copied and the whole ISO file was still 700MB big and had 2GB of files in it.
    dmg you can unpack 7zip on windows, it works really good.

    @OP do you really have all installer files included?
    if yes the dmg you loaded was probably a hybrid dmg file, which contained both installers.
    but i would still contact steinberg, to obtain a new real windows ISO for cubase 6.

    Yes ,was a hybrid dmg file and inside this dmg was all wat i need to instal my Cubase 6. I never need to kontakt Steinbergus .....was my first time . *yes*

    I wave all my Software DVD´s Isos to ( original and IsoCopy ) , just from Cubase 6 , i lost this one . Now i´m manage my Isos with care.
    I read somewere that steinberg support answers can be longer was 3 days..... i´m gona stel cool and will wait.
    My Cubase 6 run now and i´m hapy that i can work today within. :hug:

    I registered because I just had the same problem, and was a bit dismayed to find that the Cubase 6 ISO is not downloadable direct from Steinberg any longer - but C5 and C7 both are. I'm sure C6 used to be, but maybe they removed it once C7 came out.

    Anyway, two seeding sources for torrent of the same official non-cracked ISO Steinberg offered are these:

    The ISO image is identical, so the trackers from both locations can be added to one download to make it faster.
