sounds really good this one and might have to invest especially at only a fiver. I'm all up for 10 very good usable patches rather than 100 mediocre!

I thought they use a couple of presets. Signature sound, some would call it

I've bought both phonec and BOCS. Bocs is way better for pads. Phonec has more sounds (leads in particular) some of which I didn't like too much but it's well priced.

Imo BOCS is the only boards of Canada emulation sample synth or vsti to really nail their sound. It's darn cheap too.

I love it. Shockingly accurate sounds!

They have a signature sound but I reckon that's mainly to do with how they mess about with the synth sounds once they've been recorded. The sounds from the synth or synths they use vary lots from song to song when I hear their stuff.

    Thanks for your feedback! :mates:
Perhaps we are lucky and it`s going to be a series.

I dont really agree with that. In fact I could hear both of their presets in the promo video above. Except for one layered sound at the end. Sorry, but I could never really understand what the fuss is about with BoC. To me it is stale melodies, rhythm and harmonies. No contrasts, everything is stale in their music. Just my opinion

I think they were trying to copy those presets on purpose. The synth sound on Amo Bishop Roden sounds very different to these as does the synths in Reach for dead and loads of other songs they've done. But maybe that's coming from a fan. No need to apologize for not liking an artist or group, your allowed to have your own taste in music! I know people who hate them. One friend calls their stuff 'boring nature music' I personally love them and I thinks the guys at Audiowarp have done an amazing job with BOCS!
