To me, features downgrade is due to "Apple professional softwares" syndrom (read my post on it)

Read those Izotope website titles to understand my point :
"iZotope Ozone 5: Complete Audio Mastering Software"
"iZotope Ozone 6: Creative Mastering Platform - iZotope, Inc"

You see ? Izotope try to be more mainstream. And the "Creative" word was not a bad choice, against "Complete".And to do so, they do it the Apple way : removing the most professionals subtle features only a few power users use (like reverb) to make it simpler and more mainstream.

It is clear enough : only the most advanced users use mastering reverb...so to make Ozone more mainstream, Izotope removed it.
Simpler and focused, like an Apple product for mainstream ppl.

Is it safe to use the Ozone 6 R2R emulator release (in Windows 7) if you have a real iLok2 and plugins for it? Will they both work together? Thanks.

 

you can set it to true peak in the I/O settings for correct metering and click on true peak limiting so it lights up to enable it for limiting

Edit: does not seem to stick as a default setting, I'm going to look into it maybe some xml file somewere

never liked ozone5, preferred t racks cs big time. now, i love ozone6. standalone/streamlined, great analog emu via exciter. just great stuff.
