Hi people, the reason about this topic is that I'm trying to make a strange sound, is like electronic sounds randomly pitched but I can't get it.
On the link below you will hear what I mean.
its the sound that is rising at the beggining.

 

Sn'H/S&H (sample and hold) LFO adressed to pitch. Try square wave first. Play around with LFO rate, and amount of pitch. Try add a highpass filter on it aswell, to remove the low end. Finish off with some reverb.

yes you can start with a Square Wave..or experiment any..

set the Pitch to High as possible...
then modulate it with a Step Sequencer..you can use randomize till you get what you want or customize it..

when you have the sound you desired..apply some filter or effects to your liking,,

My bad listened to the Souncloud link afterward, 1st off filter (lp) then follow mokeystlle's suggestion

 

It's a simple Sn'H LFO on pitch. Not much to it.

 

A random wave works best for this kind of sound.

 

Attached is an instrument rack to get pretty much the exact sound in ableton live.

Just an operator with pitch set to sample and hold with rate and amount turned up a little. nothing much more apart from reverb and a little bit of delay. Bandpass filter on top to remove any low pitch artefacts. play c3 and you are set.

cos it won't let me upload .adg files. just download and rename the files extension to .adg from it's current .wav
