Chrome just gave me a similar "malicious site" warning.

I had the exact same issue today on Mac (with Safari)... I almost freaked out at first!!... I created a post in the "Software" forum so that it would for sure end up on the Audiosex feed in Audioz... but, I found that there was something in my browser which had to be "checked" off... so I deleted post.

Safari > Preferences > Security Tab > (uncheck) "Fraudulent Sites: Warn when visiting a fraudulent site"

not sure how that shit happened though... probably all the DMCA request whatever... who knows

Interestingly, when you "learn more" about the problem via Firefox it tells you this...

So basically it's saying that the site is suspicious for no good reason at all. I would suggest that it's probably down to Google's latest "online piracy crackdown" as it appears Google is supplying the info to (y)our browsers.

Seems some malware site databases had been updated today...Not only Audioz also some other sites I sometimes use to visit gave me that kind of warning today. You can be sure some antipiracy organisations are responsible for it.

same here on Firefox. Do we wait for them to check the site over for anything malicious done to it, or ignore the warning?

I'll let SAiNT know but the only malicious thing that could be on the site is like all sites derived from the complete misnomer known as advertising. Let me blow your mind by telling you that I just recently read an article that YouTube was distributing malware through Google Ads in the last month. Google has an elite team ready to deal with other company's security issues but can't come up with a way to stop malvertising in their own damn ads, not elite enough for that. So long as you don't click any ads or anything you should be okay. Might be a good time to make sure everything is updated particularly your OS, Flash, Java and your anti-virus. I highly doubt there's anything to worry about. It's either an ad that got flagged or some anti-piracy bullshit to scare people away. i have a secure setup here and if there were any issues I would be the first to let you guys know about it. So far all clear.

I have Audioz in my Firefox markers so I didn't receive any warnings or something like that.

No problem guys. Sucks it had to happen when I'm promoting the album...naturally. A lot of times the copyright assholes will falsely report a site and it then gets added to the database that browsers pull data from to warn of possible attack pages. By the way I haven't even received this warning yet. :dunno:

Could also be that someone linked to an external image which is from a domain that is on that list. That could happen too and also why we ask everyone to upload images to our image hosting network.

someone says that solution is "disable the Phishing and Malware Protection"
Ok, could be a quickfix for audioz, but not a clever solution. What about the rest of malware coming from other sites? This means let the door of my mac open for every crap out there. I dont like this.We need to understand what's realy going on.
I wonder if audioz is now under an anti-piracy cops attack. If this is the case, we could soon expect a "server down" message from site. No good...
it might be useful an exit strategy, just in case

I was getting the same message on audioz.eu.
In Firefox go to Tools > Options > Security and add audioz.eu Allow in exceptions.
Worked for me. Hope it works for others too.

Please don't worry, I've seen this happen before. It usually will resolve itself shortly. Like I said, I haven't even seen the message yet and my antivirus, exploit blocker, etc. hasn't gone off and I've been on AudioZ all day. And when they come for you chances are you wouldn't know about it. I know SAiNT makes backups of the site and I believe he stores a copy in a secure location. Rest assured I will look into this. *yes*

Despite the protection might be overkill and give false positive on copyright-questionable sites sometimes, you really shouldn't uncheck the box unless you really know what you're doing.
A site I was working on with a friend was flagged and it was actually really hacked and delivering several really harmful stuffs (turns out the friend was using "admin" as a password on the ftp side... not a very good idea if you ask me)...
Took a day to clean it, whatever... You're much better off clicking "ignore the warning" than turning the feature off. Especially on a javascript/flash/activeX enabled browser on a windows box.

I'm still not seeing it. *no*

Wait just saw it on willdathrill's post.

Will are you linking to an image hosted elsewhere?
