I am looking for links to other organizations like Future of Music Coalition. I want to spend my dotage years with music, so I am trying to find or create my own "business model". (I hate that kind of jargon/mumbo-jumbo). Also, books and reading material similar to David Byrne's "How Music Works". Other countries and international sites are of interest, also. Thanks for any help in advance.---"Visualize World Pancakes" https://futureofmusic.org/

You guys are funny. There's that guy in charge of administering vice, again, too. I think he's probably cool. But little info has been gained, so far.

Sorry Algae, not on this one. I heard about an org in Ger-money, would need to research it which I consider as a waste of time. Copyright/patent law is somewhat retarded ... though I appreciate your effort because it makes a difference.
Good luck and may you become big enough for a manager dealing with the papers.

"Yes, I`m paranoid but am I paranoid enough?.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean people aren't really out to get you!

I love that book, it`s my declared aim to read it in English without dictionary, ... yes, in this lifetime ...

Man, you made me think ... a lot, actually :wow: ...
Perhaps I use the signature as such, not just like a banner. And try to give my "cross-genre" faible a signature, too ...

Only in german and the site is outdated, but on their FB the next conference (barcamp) is announced for spring 2015.

Refering to music production as a hobby, I never considered how much the quality of my work would change if I build my ideas ready for business from the start. Making myself a brand isn`t tempting, but ... as long as I`m constantly creating a self-image anyway ...
    These kind of thoughts ...
It`s one of my "blind spots", that can lead me to the fundamental change in life I´m longing for.
So, your topic is quite inspiring ...

These articles I`ve been reading, as a warm up to say so. I`m quite busy with "shooting" photos for a living, however, if I find more org`s or projects, I`ll add it.

https://hearthis.at/ became popular as SC alternativ, lately. Many german producers & DJ`s use it, already. It`s pretty new though.
With the AS relaunch more streaming services become embeddable, I guess/wish.
What do you think about opening a "specific marketplace" in here, on AS? ... shure, it`s problematic ... yes, very ... but if you think of the positive part first?
