    Hi!
Can you tell me what virtual acoustic and nylon guitars are the best at the moment? (best sampled and most realistic)

I need it mainly for creating melodies (rather than for strumming etc..)

I'd like to be able to get 'tonally even' guitar notes out of the software (so that e.g. all the notes I play within an octave are equally bright)

I know of Ilya Efimov Guitars. Are there any better software guitars?

although those are all nice, the only one that contains a nylon string acoustic guitar is indiginus strummaker.

a strat and an lpc are not acoustic guitars.

and i'm pretty sure the "real guitar" acoustic is a steel string.

again, the o.p. specifically asked about a nylon stringed acoustic guitar.

Many of Ilya Efimov and Vir2 Instruments (Like Acou6tics v1.1) KONTAKT Libraries are good options too.

amplesound delivers great sounding, sample based virtual guitars.

one of them is actually freeware:

Electri6ity hands down. And the other vir2 stuff is out of this world as well (acou6tics and acoustic legends for nylon stuff). Ample sound is also very decent. 8dio has a great strummer. Its really important though that you also get amplitube or some other amp plugin, as the ones in your daw are usually a bit limited. But Electri6ity sounds seriously good and its relatively easy to use (read the manual, wont take long and youll become a master in no time).

Forgot to mention though that you will need Kontakt :(...but if you can get them both, youll never look back (unless you have a real Les Paul or sweet strat and can play some seriously good guitar).

About realism in those products, it takes more work to make them sound right than learning the instrument itself
Best option ? Just use REAL loops played by a REAL human.

If you just want some acceptable licks, it can work.
