It depends on what you need, to name one XFer's Chtulhu is great,
and it offer many more stuff than a simple arpeggiator.

The routing on Cthulhu is a pain in the ass.

 

I wish Steve would improve it, but he`s to busy with Serum most likely.
Bitwig`s Mod Environment could ease it.

Nora by Squaredheads. It rocks, it's not free and it's currently a little light on good English video tutorials. The guys who developed this are Spanish. Some of the better vids don't have any narration and the cursor is much too fast to follow easily. The availability of better tuts should change early in 2015. It's amazing what Nora can do in experienced hands. Look for vids by a guy called yellukhan in the KVR Nora forum,

It sounds like you had similar problems as I did when I tried to activate NORA. They are working on solving any glitches.

 

Sugar bytes consequence has a great arpeggiator in it. While we're at it...

my personal opinion is that nora is far and away the best one going. bluearp is good for quick and simple things. cthulhu, consequence, and thesys are all powerful and capable, but none of them offer the power, flexibility, and ease of use that nora does. noras randomization feature is light years better than what the others offer.

i have completely stopped using everything else in favor of nora.
