I'm on OSX 10.6.8 and I want to install live 9, but keep Live 7. How can this be accomplished?

Just rename the app to Live9 and Live7, they can coexist
The only downside is that if you open a session clicking on it it will probably open with the latest version.
To avoid this just drag it on the icon of the one you want to open with.

I run Live 8.4 and Live 9.1.3 on my mac, no problem when you run them alterntively. One thing i found is when you first start 8 before 9, your Live 9 will not find its library. So the workaround if you wanna run them simultaneously is to start Live 9 first then Live 8, this way both programs will see their libraries.

I use both for final crack testing and also to open some old project with 32bit stuff
    I don't have resurrected with 32Lives cause I don't use anymore...
Just change the app name (additionally I quickly remade icon too)

mind sharing your different icons my friend? I too use both, and spend half my time saying, dammit, cause I hit the 64 version in my dock by accident or vice versa and have to quit, reboot! :)…..

Ahah ok. Sorry I missed your reply :(
Here it is anyway, but I wonder yours looks better, usually I put much more efforts in graphics and custom icons,
this time I did it in 5min cause I was getting mad picking the right on on my dock :bleh:
