    Hello again all,[IMG]

Recently I helped a friend(Error 404) with a home studio project and figured I'd share pics, took around 12 hrs non stop.

Also I'm making this thread in hopes others will join in and share their setup. (I'll do one for my setup once I get a desk and reorganize,it's ugly now)

    Anyway I present to you,[IMG] Studio 404
(A Booth 2 rooms down from this one and sound treatment are next project here)

Pics aren't the greatest, had some lighting issues, some are lil overexposed or too bright in parts or glare, and I didn't do any processing to them either, there's also a mic & sheet music stand with light in front of it in back of room that you cant see but...Tried to make this post fast as I could.
Busy with a few other things...

Feel free to comment, contribute, or just take a look. Stay awesome Audiosex! :mates:

Very cool stuff man. It would be nice to have a list of the equipment, just curious...

Love the lights as well. My setup is not even close to being this complete, but I'll get there one day! planning to buy a house in the next couple of weeks (if I win the auction). If it happens I'll post some photos as well, after some renovations and the craziness of moving in.

PS: Nice touch with the Disney/Pixar posters. Awesome.

    Very nice setup!

I noticed in your first posted pics the Akai EWI wind controller. Which model is it? Its hard for me to tell from your photos. I have an older Akai EWI 3020 and the EWI 3020M sound module. Its a very rich sounding analog setup by itself but when paired with soft synths it really comes to life. You can really get some huge pads or leads going with it.

Remember the Lyricon wind controller? I have an old Lyricon II. It still works like a charm. I also have a Yamaha WX7 wind controller. I use them all depending on what the needs are.

I will have to put a list together of my studio gear.

I play the sax (tenor, alto, soprano, baritone), Native American flutes (custom made in several keys), wind controllers (mentioned), guitars, bass, keyboards and also a vocalist.

Hadn't thought about that. I guess I could.
I was just sorta hoping maybe I could start a thing where others on here could share their setups.(That's what mainroom is for huh?)
Was gonna do one for my own setup once I rearrange and get a desk.

Do you not like the idea or would rather I just use mainroom.pro?
I'll change or do whatever if you'd like?

Also awesome of you to take time and check out my post!
    Thanks SAiNT!!

well, that's how i created mainroom on the first place - members shared their home studios and i thought there must be a dedicated site/gallery for that :dancing:
so, ideally you could make a post at mainroom and then simply paste the link to your studio here *yes*

Ooh, fun thread. I'll have to take some pics of my humble setup when I get home. I just barely got an Access Virus C (wanted one for a very long time) and I've been waiting for a chance to show it off, lol.

@Statik - How you like the Blofeld? I nearly went with one of those when I got the Virus (I got a VERY good deal on one).

Try rising your studio monitors so that the tweeters are at ear level, it will make a HUGE difference *yes*

Or, if that's not possible, at least angle them upwards so that they point at your ears.
And also angle them towards you.
