Organizing plugins in Studio One

    imho, if you are having to find time to organise your plugins, then you probably have to many to start with :rofl:

    How much is too many?

    I find that if you have, let's say more than 30, some organization is necessary.
    And in Studio One you have almost 30 plug-ins which are included in the DAW alone...

    What I do is install into a VST directory, but I then have a /VST Organized/ directory too. I basically copy the vst's from their original dir into their organized location (Instruments,EQ,COMPRESSORS,DELAY, REVERB ETC ETC) I then point my DAW towards that dir.

    Before anyone asks why I would have duplicates on the same drive well the reason is this... I may not use every plug in, so I just move the ones I use into my organized dir. If I have the need for something else, i just grab it from the Main VST dir and copy it over to the corresponding folder. Works quite well for me!

    So you only use VST2 plug-ins.

    No, Although i do mostly stick with VST2. Any VST3 that I use sit in their original and forced directory.
