Has anyone here had any luck installing Virharmonic Bohemian Violin on a Mac?
I used Kontakt Library Utility 2.4.0 to create a NICNT file and installed the library using Add Library v.5.
The library doesn't appear in Kontakt (8.11.1).

Hmm...To my knowledge, the Bohemian Series has never touched any Native Instruments platform. They started in the UVI ecosystem (primarily in UVI Falcon) before heading on their own with the Guerrilla Engine Player.

If you're also speaking on a blessed copy on the sister site, its available via R2R Falcon Player, not Kontakt Player.

Well, that explains why it wouldn't work with Kontakt. Please excuse my ignorance.
Although I was immersed in the advent of MIDI and sampling in the mid-80s, I haven't had anything to do with electronic music for many decades (long story). Now at the age of 73, I'm trying hard to pick up where I left off a lifetime ago.
Yes, the copy is from the sister site, and I was so excited to have access to the library, and now enthused again at the prospect that I still might have access to it.
Unfortunately, I don't know what 'R2R Falcon Player' is... but I'm not going to waste a moment to find out.

There are so many nice violin instruments out there for Kontakt, you don't need to install UVI or Falcon.

I recommend Cinesamples Taylor Davis, or Red Room Audio - Traveler Series Bluegrass Fiddle.

As I mentioned, there are so many other ones as well, it would be hard to list.

That said, I'd still like to learn about UVI and Falcon for future reference.
In fact, I'd love not to have to use Kontakt if possible, even though I know it's extremely popular. As I've been slowly getting hold of different libraries, it seems that some of them don't work very well with the cracked Kontakt - probably because of the workarounds with the NICNT files and having to bypass Native Access to add the libraries.

Of course, if I had the financial means, I'd just as soon buy all of the libraries and samples that I'm interested in. Regardless, I'm most grateful to this resource and to those who've made these wonderful gems available for those of us who have limited options.
