Can you recommend a all-in-one analysis and metering plugin ?

This is so funny, for real. I'm in metal music and I loved DD2 themes. I even keep them in mp3. Just a bunch of basic raw sounding instrumentals. Actually I played Wipeout 2097 before DD2 cause I had to stay with only the stock demo cd a few days before finally being bought my real first game.

Psygnosis weren't that big but I remember at least two other games from them.
A rpg : Alundra. And G-police. With my then mate we were very impressed with the latter.

Wipeout was a major thing. 2 years ago there even had been a big book of arts celebrating the game.

Since I am so into Dynamics in music, I would recommend DRMeter MKII and Dynameter, there are no other options that measure these things as far as I know, so no free alternatives either, but they are great at what they do, especially if you care about dynamic range as much as we do.
EDIT: I just released that YouLean also measure dynamics, that's cool! However, it is also only in the paid version.

@ZUK great recommendations, hard to beat g/Fractor, it got everything in one place for free.

I'm really interested in Reffrey aswell since it's the first free reference analyzer I hear about.
I'm a bit thrown off by the fact that you have to install an app that will automaticaly install the VST and AU upon launch, then you have to go back to the website to generate a license.

"1̶9̶9̶€̶ FREE for early adopters" seems too good to be true, is there something I'm trading without my knowledge here ?
Can I delete the app and still have the plugin working ?

    Any opinions welcome.

Honestly real time audio analysis is garbage.

Audacity delivers everything relevant besides a deeper spectrum analysis. Don't know why no daw developer ever gets to the conclusion for just giving the option to analyze every track at once and display the non real time results in probably two windows. :dunno:

Spectrum and dynamics analysis is programming wise a super simple task. The only complicated thing is this absolutely useless real time ui.

I just download and try for MacOs. At first I also hesitate to install since it require to install the app and it will automatically install the vst. But curiosity kill the cat... apparently the vst is just like a remote. Every time u insert it will open the app. The app is the main analyzer. so each instant of insert will linked to the app. So far nothing funky about it, but im not MacOs expert here to know if anything funny running in the back ground.

The spectrum analyzer too much look like Insight 2 by Izotope. I did compare both, it like an actual same 1:1.. Reffrey is more like Sonnox ListeHUB but only with a lot more analyzer information and stable. Not sure why my Sonnox ListenHUB always keep crashing, drop out and constantly need to authorize license.

Now im not sure to keep it or not, im not really fond of wide system situation since im using soundsource for my headphone eq and crossfeed system wide. I might uninstall Reffrey.

Thank you for your feedback @Jeffriezal , there is now way I'm using a plugin that automatically opens the app each time, saved me some time.

So i tried PRISM by AstraMusic.. i love the UI, but apparently i cant get it to work with my MacOs 15 M1.. it open but what ever i play it did not detect it. Or maybe i got it all wrong, maybe it is not like mini meter, it read out what ever come out of your macos... maybe it need to link with player such as spotify? or maybe it do not support m1? coz the installer says arm64... i cant get clear info from the creator github.

But the vst plugin version of it working perfectly, the only thing is, the read out some how inaccurate if compare to other meter like Insight 2, bx, even daw stock plugin meter.

on the sidequest, i try their ASTRAmusic player... pretty neat. Great UI. Im not sure if it better than Foobar, but with all the metering and its feature, im keeping this one.
