The problem is that even if you may not be knowingly doing so, the "auto-translation" component of the software you're using is making the final output "LLM-slop-ish". It makes much of it come across as very annoying to read. So even if you're not intentionally trying to use AI, the software you're using is doing more than a straightforward translation. It's using an LLM to rewrite a lot of what you're trying to convey in tiresome cliched "LLM-speak".
I am grateful for your concern. I should add that, when I commission a translation, I explicitly request that it remain as faithful as possible to my original text and refrain from unwarranted alterations. Translation is for me a practical necessity, not a creative crutch (the AI neither thinks/creates on my behalf) As to your expressed displeasure, I would point out that I am, by training, a music educator with a graduate degree, and I read extensively. If the final product of my writing strikes you as "irritating to read", it may well be because my prose (particularly on matters of some ensitive topics) tends toward a more technical register and less toward casual colloquialism. In any case, I thank you for the unsolicited literary critique. I shall continue to write in my own manner and to translate in the way that best suits me (I once relied on Google Translator, but it was unsatisfactory, and I have no intention of returning to it).
