"I hope you guys aren't sleeping on this"

Umn....no. It's only been out for four months. Personally, I troll T3K every few days, But thanks for waking up all those sleepyheads.....LOL!!

I've narrowed my amps down to a selection of best in class amp models, and I use matching York Audio IR's. I'm going big on the pedals and studio gear though, as that is where the little surprises are :)

Was into it a bit when it first came out then forgot about it for a good while. Just got back into it a month ago and have been combining it with Nebula. NAM for disto/sat and Nebula for tone and shaping etc. Early days but getting some amazing results. Algos simply can't compare. What I'd love is a proper librarian to allow for easy navigating of the libs. There's so many of them now and it would be great to be able to browse folders/subfolders with click and load instead of just loading one folder at a time. Tonocracy supposedly did that but the devs seem to have disappeared. There's something called RigBrowser that's supposed to be good too but it's only online and that's a no no for me.

The workaround for RigBrowser would to download a whole lotta NAM profiles and choose from there.
It can be used offline too.

    Someone asked about it here:

My current setup is a NAM drive pedal capture into a NAM amp captuture (with optional gain plugin up front), followed by time based fx and Pulse 2 IR cabs. I also have a studio reverb on the mix bus for an amp in the room sound on headphones.

For now, most NAM hardware are convertion based.
So most hardware NAM "loaders" s*cks.
Most brands still push their converted format : Hotone, Ampero, Mooer ...
Mooer just released another GE MNRS2.0 device (ge100 pro) with NAM conversion to their MNRS 2.0

Sadly, NAM A2 was created to be an hardware "push", but most brands will probably not jump on native.
    A2 or not.

Most people right now probably can't realize how revolutionary A2 really is. Holy grail guitar tone with low tier hardware will be within reach very soon. And best of all everything is open source, not locked in a closed ecosystem from a single company.

Dimehead is probably the best right now and you will be able to run two instances of NAM A2 at -0.5 to 1ms latency, but I am quite happy to work ITB on my PC. Hopefully somebody else will come up with some viable hardware solutions as well, as this new A2 update sounds great.

Also, just found this ... https://sonulab.com/stompstationpro/

When it comes to modeling studio gear, AnalogX Genesis profiles can't be beat. They will have their newest and most accurate released soon. This is Nam on steroids!

I’m seeing on Tone3000 that files are now tagged as ‘A2’. Does that mean they were retrained to A2 quality or just that they’re A2-compatible?

Retrained because there is no A2 compatibility.
It is a completely different (genius) design

The opposite is true too : you can't load A2 into an V1 loader
Meaning another push for brands who created their NAM V1 conversion.
