I am a longtime member of audioz
but its getting lately hard to get a 'paid" subscription to downloaders lately.
Rapidgator etc are a pain in the *ss and I wonder why there is never been an option for
a torrent download. there are some sites providing it but I always loved our community here.
Warez should be free so i don't think it is a reason of moneytization . So maybe someone knows the reason
why we have no torrent option

 

The problem is not so much rapidgator or any uploaders, but they way they handle payments . its becoming harder to get a simple paypal payment without being overly charged by "resellers " etc

 

Up until recently I was using the Rapidgator IOS App purly for the subscriptions purposes but for whatever reason its no longer available for IOS, thankfully there was an android option so I downloaded the Rapidgator android app and pay via a subscription using that, much easier than the website.

I have been with Rapidgator for many years never had any issues with them or using it with the sister site.

 

Torrents require active seeding. Without a dedicated hoster/seeder for the files, it would require the uploaders to keep and seed all their uploads, or keep their fingers crossed that the community doesn't just download and ditch (which 99% of them do).

If you look at other sites that use torrents, depending on the userbase and the community, of course, it is often a problem. Especially with popular releases, where you'd get a 1000 people pling up on one uploader, then crying in the comments that the download is slow, and finally that people leave without seeding...the whole familiar cycle of torrent outrage.

File hosting is more of an upload-and-forget solution, which I totally understand. Less fuss.

As far as downloading goes, I've been using real-debrid for over 2 years now, 0 complaints, just works.

 

rutracker.org is always seeded and has all the kontakt libraries, mix with the masters, mac/pc software etc.

Just use the built-in translation function of your browser and create an account there so you can search.

 

my opinion about torrents
stay away from public torrent sites as much as you can torrents are full of nasty stuff
releases are often already extracted you don't know if they've been tampered with that is asking for trouble
you never know for sure if it's safe with warez, but as long as I've been downloading from the site, I've never had any problems with anything
I can still remember downloading from a torrent site once because of the DCMA takedown on sistersite i won't mention the name but the keygen was bigger than 10MB, so you can assume something wasn't right

 

Like with any Warez site, you need to know what to do.

Testing is always the first step. Once trust is built, and there has been some interaction with the site's community, you can bookmark that site.

Despite being very familiar with all the communities for Warez online, I still continue to take "standard" precautions when dealing with executable files.

And yes, NOW thankfully with R2R implementing the new system, it has become even easier to figue out what is a Legit patch and what has been hijacked.

Onto the OP , yes at times it can be tedious, but this site is just a 'message board', and what it does is amazing !

When it comes to setting up a Torrent tracker that is safe for a users of a community, the Game is played at a totally different level.

 

It might very well work, but it has to be a private torrent site where you can only be invited by trusted members

I wonder why R2R included a root certificate surely that isn't necessary to install a plugin or run a keygen
If you know can you explain it to me?
