    Strix ROG G18
    18" Screen
    Ultra 9 275HX processor
    32 GIG RAM
    1TB SSD
    RTX 5070 TI GPU

This is my first ever laptop & will be predominantly for producing & completing tunes back home or when on holiday. My old tower is still being used but mostly for storage, mix downs & mastering tracks at my studio.

The feeling of being unrestricted with the amount of Vsts I can have without bouncing to wav is pure heaven.

All user upgradable. Next on the list is a 4Tb SSD for sample packs which is still rather small compared to what I'm used too, but hoping to get 8Tb storage & 64 GIG RAM towards the end of the year.

    Super happy with it!

I have same laptop. It is really great. It seems also that it has nice management of the fans when You uninstall all the Asus pre installed crap.

That's cool, It's hard to find portable powerhouses that don't sound like a 777

It was a real concern for me originally. But I'm quite surprised with the fan noise to be honest, as I don't really hear anything with the headphones in. Having said that I've hardly pushed it to its limits, yet!

After working on laptops for years, going back to desktop was the single best choice I ever made.
Laptops are noisy, hot, and absolutely limited (+expensive) compared to desktops.

Although, I hope your experience will be different and it works out for you.
If mobility is your primary concern, then a laptop is the only solution.

A 5070ti in a laptop is just a scam look how big the 5070ti is in a desktop 3 coolers. you can never reach that speed in a laptop like that, not only because of the temps but also the power draw but after all, a nice laptop

If there is one thing I can't stand, it's working with a laptop but everyone has their own preference
