I’m currently building a free online platform with music tools aimed at students and teachers, especially those studying at conservatories or giving lessons who need quick, practical resources without any hassle.

The idea came from a pretty common situation: when you’re practicing or teaching, you end up jumping between different websites for basic things, a metronome in one tab, a chord generator in another, theory somewhere else… and you spend more time switching tools than actually playing or teaching.

So I decided to bring everything together in one place:
    https://emusic.tools/en

At the moment, it includes things like:

    • A configurable online metronome
    • A chord generator to explore progressions
    • Tools for working on rhythm and theory
    • Quick utilities for day-to-day practice
Everything runs directly in your browser, no installation needed. The goal is to keep it fast, simple, and genuinely useful, whether you’re just starting out or already at a more advanced level.

It’s still a work in progress, so there’s plenty of room for improvement. That’s exactly why I’d really value feedback from people who study music or teach, what’s missing, what feels unnecessary, what doesn’t quite work in real practice, etc.

If anyone gives it a try and has any thoughts (even critical ones), I’d really appreciate it.

Whoa, this looks incredible. I have several websites I use regularly just for some of these tools alone, so having all of them in one place is fantastic.. and free no less! I cant begin to imagine how long youve been working it but thank you for making it available, youre doing producers and musicians a real favor. Congrats and thanks again!

At first and quick glance, it looks very comprehensive and professional - well done.

The first thing I would like to see as a pianist, is the ability in the piano page to hold down the Command Key, and keep clicking (say, up to four or five notes) to form and hear a chord. That would be a very valuable tool. Each click while Cmd (or Ctrl for PC) would add an (and play the) additional note(s).

On the metronome, I instinctively clicked on the 150 of the BPM: 150 to type in another value. No go, of course, the interface below that field is a lot less intuitive, although I can appreciate the variety of inputs (all, useless to me, but maybe you cater to different genres of music than I write). Whatever great options you offer, BPM has been around for centuries - that should be the primary focus of the GUI on this page, is my first contact reaction.

The Scale Library page is impressively well stocked - I'll likely circle back to it for sure - but I would love a simple mode where I could just click on one of the boxes and hear it straight up - no need to take me to the next page, with all the details and nice piano graphic (perhaps a Cmd+Click on said box could link to the details page - if not, perhaps a speaker icon on the box could be clicked to simply play the scale).

Also, I believe you might be missing some Asymmetrical and Synthetic scales there - I highly recommend Masaya Yamaguchi's books for this purpose - if you want to be thorough.

Lastly, still on that page's topic, I've not the faintest idea what the "Formula Intervals from the root: 1P · 2M · 3M · 4A · 5A · 6A" actually means (???), but good going on the guitar tab graphic there - and love the "Ascending - Descending - Both" Play Scale button below that.

This is really cool overall - hope you had some help putting it together (ai would be my guess, but for such things, I'm on board with ai).

    Good luck!

How can I find a scale or chord if I don't know which one I'm looking for, but know at least some of the notes? Can I type the notes in somewhere, and have suggestions made? - the more notes I input, the more refined the suggested results become?

    Great website by the way!
