Trying out the Galaxias from the museum and noticed it doesn’t show up in the Roland vst vendor folder in bitwig but it installed a standalone app, is Galaxias a plugin or standalone only?

 

installed in studio one window 11 seen as a normal plugin, probably bitwig has some compatibility problems

 

It IS a plugin, as well as stand-alone. Vst3 placed in the usual place (C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Roland\)
I haven't used Bitwig in a while (not installed) so I can't help there.

 

I will have to check again because I did not search the file system yet but I wanted to figure out if it really was

 

It´s working here, Bitwig 6.0.5/Windows!

Confirm the installation of TEAM R2R System.

If you have previous installation,
Exports your own presets.
Uninstall previous versions.
Delete "%USERPROFILE%\Galaxias User"
Delete "%PUBLIC%\Documents\Galaxias Library"

Confirm the installation of
Roland.Cloud.Ultimate.v2026.04.READ.NFO-R2R (VST3 is required for Galaxias)
Roland.ZENOLOGY.Content.v2026.04-R2R

Run every Roland Cloud Ultimate plugins at least one time to initialize.
Otherwise, plugins factory presets won't show up in Galaxias.

Install.
Run Galaxias Standalone to initialize.
Enjoy!

Tested in FL Studio & Reaper.

 

So what I have to run the standalone version for the vst to appear? I loaded the rest but it was strange the plugin didn’t show up yet

 

Don't forget to check the box for VST3, run it once in standalone mode (desktop) after installation, and then search for plugins with your DAW!!!

2. Run Galaxias Standalone to initialize.

 

Works in legit BandLab Cakewalk Sonar

 

That’s what I’m testing, I already ran it once in standalone and will run bitwig again to see if it shows up now

 

Looked again, turns out I was looking in the wrong Roland folder with older versions of the plugins and I didn’t see things like the BOSS pedals or CR78 everything is running now and I’ll have to reinstall on my other device since it’s definitely going to show up there
