I use Debrid Link, had before Real and All Debrid, but there was much downtime, not so much with Debrid Link

 

So has 'Debrid-Link' had the same recent issues with Rapidgator, as are claiming ?

 

So I can confirm what PulseWave reported, the file request from Rapidgator gets "**caches** a copy on its own servers for faster future access by you or others, and generates a new, high-speed direct download or streaming link for you".
Any Rapidgator file link that I uploaded to Alldebrid till Ample Sound Ample Guitar T on 19 April can still be downloaded using IDM but all the file links that I have saved after that is blocked. I now had to switch to Realdebrid and re-upload those blocked links and they work!

 

That's understandable. However, I've never experienced any downtime, unlike these third-party link suppliers. While it may not be the cheapest option, it's 100% satisfactory.

 

This is how it works with torrents. You go get a magnet link, paste it into RD website. It goes and downloads the file to RD servers, and when that is done, you can download it directly from RD via your web browser at full speed. You never have any p2p contact with any of the machines seeding the torrent data. You don't even need a torrent client. A certain 200gb library I once downloaded normally which took over 48 hours, took under 10 from RD.

If you are using JDownloader with RD and using the clipboard monitor, even that is nice. Highlight all the links on a Peeplink or whatever, it figures out which files are still online and not 404'd from each server, sorts that out, bypasses the hosting page and their captcha, adds all of them to your download queue automatically. Things like this can make the higher RD cost vs all-debrid acceptable for some people.

 

rapidshare works on Alldebrid here even though it says down

 

Using Real Debrid for years. It is working and their customer support is nice. I got log out and they helped me to regain my account even after my original email was not working anymore.
You can collect credits and get extra months with them.
Rapidgator and KAT working all the time.
I usually pay 22 Eur for a year. Super useful.
Only problem is that Nitroflare is not supported.

 

for me the one difference is that, today, alldebrid maintains rapidgator offline and realdebrid is ON. Downloading without problems.

 

What's the deal with Linksnappy, which is advertised on the sister site? Is it an alternative to Alldebrid (aside from the fact that it's expensive at $110/year)? Any experiences with it?

 

Unrelated, but I got got an annual Torbox sub for $30 (well, a year + 90 days to be precise) during the black friday sale and been quite happy with it ever since. When it comes to watching films and series, it's pretty much the same experience I had with RD, if not better and snappier. When it comes to downloading zip/rar files from hosters, RD is still hands down the best but Torbox is still serviceable and can handle Rapidgator.

 

I think rapidgator is fuming because they lose a lot of potential customers (and money) with these services like Realdebrid that probably buy only a few premium accounts that are (technically) shared across thousands of users if not more. Or is it true that Realdebrid etc make deals with Rapidgator to allow this? It's not technically illegal I think but might break their TOS. Does it work this way?

 

I suspect Rapidgator is just taking every cent they can get; otherwise, the money goes to the competition.
